Nothing like great food and great company to kick things off.

Day 2: West Palm Beach – Naples

We’ll be taking the long way to Naples. We’ll ride around Lake Okeechobee, the second largest lake in the continental US. We’ll stop for lunch and you may even want to try gator meat, they say it tastes like chicken. We’ll be riding through small towns, farms and ranches on back roads with very little traffic. Things cap off for the evening when we arrive in Naples on the Gulf coast of Florida. You’ll get a chance to enjoy the area attractions like Tin City, Riverwalk and Bayfront Place.

Day 3: Naples – Key Largo

We’ll get an early start and ride on a scenic road through the middle of the Florida Everglades. We’ll stop at an Indian village and take a tour on the history, culture and lifestyle of the Miccosukee Indian Tribe. See a variety of demonstrations and displays from woodcarving to patchwork, beadwork, basket weaving and doll making. Get up close to the Florida Alligator and learn how the species has thrived in the Everglades for centuries. By airboat, you’ll take a ride through the vast ‘River of Grass’ and discover a typical hammock-style Indian camp that has been owned by the same Miccosukee family for more than 100 years. Then we’re off to Key Largo for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Key largo – Key West

The next stop of the tour is Key West for a 2 night stay. We’ll ride on the Overseas Highway and on the famous Seven Mile Bridge. It’s one of the longest segmental bridges in the world. With the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other it’s truly an unforgettable ride. For dinner we’ll take a sunset dinner cruise, you’ll dine in the air conditioned main cabin and watch the famous Key West sunset as you listen to live calypso music from the upper deck.

Day 5: Key West

Today is your day, riders are given free reign to discover all that Key West has to offer. Now’s the perfect opportunity to go snorkeling and explore Key West’s brilliant coral reefs. Prefer to stay dry? Catch a view of what lies below the waves with a glass bottom boat ocean tour or hop onto the Key West Trolley and visit the city’s popular attractions. If you’re feeling especially adventurous, the view of Key West at 300 feet when parasailing is worth the price of admission alone.

Day 6: Key West – Miami Beach

On to Miami’s South Beach. The clear blue water and the white sand beaches are a must-see for all visitors. South Beach has been called the American Riviera and an Art Deco Playground. Yet there’s more than fine white sand and colorful buildings to South Beach’s fantasyland of exuberant Deco architecture. South Beach offers an eclectic mix of world-class boutiques, galleries and stores. It’s also a culinary hot spot for everything from gourmet to casual beachside cuisine. At night, South Beach comes alive with crowds ready to go out and have a world-class evening out.

Day 7: Miami Beach – West Palm Beach

We’ll be heading back to West Palm Beach today but not before we make a stop in Ft. Lauderdale. With its makeover from a college student Mecca to a tonier clientele complete, Fort Lauderdale has been transformed into a beach chic destination. From luxe properties dotting the beachfront skyline to Las Olas Boulevard for casually chic shopping and dining scene, Fort Lauderdale Beach has some of the best people-watching in South Florida. And don’t forget to stroll along the palm tree-fringed, brick-lined beachfront promenade. Upon arrival in West Palm Beach you’ll drop off the bikes, we’ll take you to the hotel then we’ll enjoy a final dinner together.

Day 8: West Palm Beach

After a good night’s rest we’ll transport you back to the airport or train station for your departure. You won’t be going home empty-handed, you’ll have the full Florida experience under your belt, great memories and renewed energy. Not to mention a nice tan. Talk about solid evidence! This isn’t a good bye, however. It’s a celebration of an amazing week spent with friends, one you’ll cherish forever.

Journey into Florida’s historic past on our 8 days and 7 nights Florida Experience North Tour. Experience Kennedy Space Center, ride on famous Main Street in Daytona Beach and visit the oldest city in North America. Day 2

Our adventure to St. Augustine begins when we depart from West Palm Beach and ride by Lake Okeechobee, it’s the second largest lake in the continental United States. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant with daily fresh seafood straight from Okeechobee waters. Ever wondered what gator meat tastes like? They say it tastes like chicken, but don’t take our word for it! After lunch we’ll ride on back roads to Cocoa Beach. Home of the largest surfing shop in the United States – Ron Jon’s Surf Shop – it’s a perfect chance to go to the beach, go swimming or even take a surfing class.

Day 3

Our next destination is the Kennedy Space Center, where we’ll take the Launch Control Center Tour and visit the firing room that controlled real shuttle launches since 2006. (Both tour and admission are included in the Destination: St. Augustine package.) Then, we’ll ride to Daytona Beach, a virtual mecca for motorcycle fans and festivals year round. We’ll ride the famous 34-mile scenic motorcycle route called The Loop before window shopping at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley Davidson, the largest Harley Davidson dealer in the world. Finally, we’ll arrive in the heart of St. Augustine for a two-night stay.

Day 4

Today is your chance to explore all that St. Augustine has to offer. It’s history comes alive in the red-brick lanes leading to centuries-old churches, in forts where soldiers still walk the grounds, and on horse-drawn carriage rides through time. Stroll through the delightful historic district, with its cobblestone streets, quaint cafes, bars, unique shops and bed-and-breakfast inns. Experience the beauty of an early morning that slowly comes alive with locals and tourists setting out on foot to explore significant landmarks including the Castillo de San Marcos, Lightner Museum, Flagler College and Fort Matanzas. Head just out of town and back to nature along 42 miles of pristine Atlantic beaches.

Day 5

Saying farewell to St. Augustine, we’ll ride on beautiful and scenic back roads through the Ocala National Forest. We’ll stop in Ocala for lunch, known as one of five “horse capitals” of the world with over 900 thoroughbred horse farms. You’ll probably see a lot of horses grazing while on the road. After lunch we’ll continue towards Crystal River on the Gulf Coast of Florida. The river is fed by springs and considered a National Wildlife Refuge for manatees.

Day 6

It’ll be an early start this morning. We’ll take a manatee tour (included in the St. Augustine tour package) where you’ll get to swim with real manatees. These friendly mammals typically return to warmer waters when the Gulf of Mexico cools, and often approach tourists for a rub. It will be an unforgettable experience. After the tour, we’ll ride to Sebring, home of the Sebring International Raceway and the historic Kenilworth Lodge. The lodge has been serving visitors since 1916, and great care has been taken to preserve its appearance while providing modern amenities. If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll experience the same paranormal activity reported by other guests in the hotel!

Day 7

We’ll go by the west side of Lake Okeechobee today as we ride into Clewiston which is on the south side of the lake and dubbed America’s sweetest town due to its long history in the sugar industry. You’ll see many sugar cane fields along the way. We’ll grab lunch in Clewiston before heading back to West Palm Beach to drop off our bikes and check in at the hotel. The day closes with one final group dinner surrounded by good company and unforgettable memories of your St. Augustine tour.

Day 8

You’ll return home with stories of your incredible experiences of your Florida adventure, not to mention a great tan and a feeling of renewal.
